Questions people
actually ask.
If something isn't answered here, send an email to [email protected] and I'll reply directly.
Pricing & Billing
After the free consultation call, I write a proposal that names a single price for the full project. That price covers everything listed in the scope. If the scope stays the same, the price stays the same. If you want to add something, I quote the addition in writing before doing the work.
Hourly billing puts the client in the position of worrying about time every time they send feedback or ask a question. Fixed pricing means you can communicate freely without watching a clock. It also means I'm motivated to work efficiently, not to stretch hours.
Yes. Most projects begin with a deposit, typically fifty percent of the total project price, paid before design work starts. The remaining balance is due on final delivery. The exact payment terms are written into the proposal before you commit.
Project Process
It depends on the project type and complexity. A single landing page might take one to two weeks. A full website with five or more pages typically takes three to five weeks. A brand identity from concept to final files usually takes two to four weeks. The proposal always includes a specific timeline.
Nothing formal. A basic sense of what you need is enough. If you have examples of styles you like or dislike, those are helpful to share on screen during the call. If you already have a logo, brand colours, or existing website, I'll ask you to share those so I understand what already exists.
Revisions within the agreed scope are included. The specific number of rounds is written in the proposal. Two to three revision rounds is typical for most projects. If you need more rounds than agreed, additional rounds can be added at a fixed cost per round, quoted before we continue.
Scope changes happen sometimes. When they do, I write a change document that describes the addition, the updated price, and any change to the timeline. You approve it in writing before I do the extra work. Nothing is added silently to the invoice.
Files & Deliverables
You receive all source files in their native format. For logos this means the original Illustrator or Affinity Designer file. For websites this means the complete HTML, CSS, and JavaScript files along with all image assets. For Canva templates, you receive a shareable Canva link you can duplicate to your own account. The proposal lists every file format you'll receive.
No. I design and build. Hosting and domain registration are separate services that you set up with a hosting provider of your choice. I can advise on general hosting options during the consultation call, but the account setup and payment goes directly through you, not through me.
Yes. That's the point of them. The templates are designed so that you can swap out text, photos, and basic colour elements without needing a designer. I include a short written guide explaining how to update each editable element. You don't need a Canva Pro account to use most templates, though some features require it.
Working Remotely
Most project communication happens by email, which works across time zones without needing to be online at the same time. Video calls for the consultation and design presentations are scheduled in advance at times that work for both of us. Italy-based clients typically find morning calls in Italy time workable from my end.
Yes. All project communication, proposals, and documentation are in English. Italian-speaking clients are welcome and I have experience working with businesses in Italy. If language is a concern, the free consultation call is a good place to check that communication works comfortably.
